Missing Fire Police Captain's Car Found, Search Continues: PA State Police

A Fire Police Captain's vehicle has been three days after he went missing, Pennsylvania State Police say.

The Laurel Fire Company in Windsor Fire Police Captain Tony Bortner was last seen on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17, PA State Police explained on Monday, Oct. 21, and as Daily Voice previously reported.

The 50-year-old's red 2008 Subaru Forester was found at Lock 12 in Lower Chanceford Township by State Troopers on Saturday, Oct. 19, PSP said.

Bortner "has had no contact with anyone," the company wrote adding that "This is very out of character for Tony."

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, York Station is conducting the missing persons investigation.

He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing approximately 220 pounds.

Troopers along with search and rescue teams have been combing the area.
